Initialize the Bootstrap Layer
On your assembly-host, while logged in as
escenic
:
-
cd
to the assemblytool_installation folder:$
cd assemblytool_installation -
Enter the following command:
$
ant -q earThis command (which takes a few minutes to complete) creates the bootstrap layer. The bootstrap layer is a set of configuration files that "configure the configuration process". Once you have run the above command, you will find the bootstrap layer located in assemblytool_installation
/conf
. This bootstrap layer is set up to look for three configuration layers. The first two layers (default
andaddon
) are part of the delivered system, and do not concern you. The third layer is calledcommon
, and the bootstrap layer is set up to look for it in/etc/escenic/engine/common
. You will therefore need to create a common configuration layer there.
