These services are used by the engine to populate the SearchIndex database table, and keep that table in sync when the linked contents changes.

SyncService

Package com.escenic.search.index.services Description

These services are used by the engine to populate the SearchIndex database table, and keep that table in sync when the linked contents changes.

We have multiple services here:

• SyncService - to sync changed content
• SectionMovedIndexer - to sync content if you move the sections around
• ProtectionDomainListener - to sync the Access control lists (ACL) if the permissions of sections/catalogs changes.
• DeletedObjectIndexer - to remove rows from the table when the objects are deleted using the API
• CleanupService - to remove rows from the table if the object was removed using the database
